What type of gift/flower would be good for the guys at work?

My company is moving to a new location and Id like to give each person a %26quot;welcome home%26quot; gift - Ive already asked the girls their favorite flower %26amp; that%26#039;s what they%26#039;ll recieve- but Im at a loss as to what to give the guys ... I need some help - what would be an a appropriate flower/gift for this occassion?

What type of gift/flower would be good for the guys at work?
Gladioli -- if they%26#039;re all gay.
Reply:give them a coffee cup full of candy! or a desk plant .. not a flower, but a plant. Most men in my office think it%26#039;s gay to get flowers ... then again they%26#039;re all homophobes. Anywho... i find that candy goes over well with them .. try it!
Reply:CVS and Walgreens have these great little wooden brainteaser puzzles that I%26#039;ve found make great presents for male co-workers.
Reply:Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Reply:listen to the previous answers. cookies are a great idea, any simple foods that you can hand off are great too, but chocolates might be pushing it... unless its some kinda manly chocolate. shot glasses and those little bottles of sampler liquers are good if theyre into those sorts of things.
Reply:i am a guy i would prefer an IT gadget, can be a thumb drive, anything useful := )
Reply:I definitely wouldst y a man flowers. I%26#039;m male.Buy them something Tye would appreciate. Unless they are feminine/homosexual/bi?

Try a very small bottle of aftershave or two cans of beer? A shot of spirit in a small bottle? Chocolates?

Good luck
Reply:Cookies!
Reply:Guys are great, in that they are easy! Bake a batch of cookies or some scones, put it near the coffee pot with a sign. There%26#039;s nothing like a little home cooking to welcome someone home (cute idea BTW), and guys will appreciate it more than anything else.
Reply:Coming from a guy who works in an office, here are a few ideas that wont break your bank:

1. A coffee or tea mug.

2. A cool plastic water tumbler.

3. A small flashlight for those times they need to crawl under their desk to fix something on their computer.

4. A clever pen or mechanical pencil.

5. A $5 card to Starbucks assuming one is near your new office.
Reply:chocolate chip cookies
Reply:Cookies are nice, but the best gift for a guy is a nice big summer sausage.
Reply:Bamboo plants are nice...
Reply:Hon, the gift that the guys would appreciate most would be a couple home-baked chocolate-chip cookies! Sorry, but most guys are still uncomfortable with the idea of ladies giving flowers to men. And appearance-enhancing items - such as shaving gear - are a bit too intimate for co-workers. Go with the cookies.
Reply:Men---if they write a lot for their job, a pen with the company name on it would be nice.If not---feed them, they really like food.Good luck........
Reply:A good luck bamboo would be a good idea. I gave one to my former coworker when he bought a new house and he loved it.
Reply:I once sent my husband a bouquet of %26quot;cookies%26quot;.

They%26#039;re homemade cookies in a variety of arrangements....check the internet.

I sent him a golf arrangement and he loved it.
Reply:I think that guys will see you giving them a flower as a question of their masculinity. Maybe a cofee mug would be better? Or a mousepad? Or a notepad?
Reply:Gourmet baskets with cheeses and meats or candies/cookies. Can%26#039;t go wrong with food!
Reply:omg omg omg......you want to give men FLOWERS?????

NEVER EVER give them these!!!!

Potted plants like money plant, cactus will do fine.

Coffee mugs with the their names engraved, painted, stenciled on it will do good. Practical.

His favourite snacks, titbits will make good gestures.

Cheers
